Rebecca Alicesya is an Indonesian model and public figure whose career spans editorial, runway, and global campaign work. Long before modelling, she was known as the “Nation’s Little Scholar”, a nickname she earned at just eight years old after clips of her representing Indonesia at the World Scholars Cup Global Round (WSC) went viral nationwide, and opened her first opportunities in children’s advertising campaigns.What followed was less a typical career trajectory and more a quiet accumulation of unlikely firsts. She won Nona Sampul at thirteen, and at fourteen, she was accidentally photographed in the background of a street-style shoot by a Vogue photographer in Manhattan. while attending the Ivy League Summer Scholars Program at Columbia University, and signed to IMAGE Models, US, agency of Gigi Hadid within the same summer.She has appeared in Vogue Asia, L'Officiel China, Dazed, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Marie Claire. She also join campaigned for Lancôme and MLB. She spent four years signed to IMAGE Models, US, while still completing high school at a regular state school in South Jakarta. Then, at sixteen, she debuted on the Paris Fashion Week runway for Versace, becoming one of the youngest Southeast Asian models to do so. Two years later, she was accepted into the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Indonesia, one of the country’s most competitive academic institutions.The combination of her academic achievements and international fashion career quickly distinguished her within the industry, shaping her image as a rare embodiment of both intelligence and elegance.
